During a hearing related to divorce proceedings between Kevin Costner and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner on September 1, the actor revealed he might sue Paramount Network to recoup financial losses after scheduling conflicts and backstage scuffles between himself, Paramount Network, and “Yellowstone” producers –including Sheridan — resulted in him walking away from the show before the filming of Season 5’s back half resumed. But the parties involved may come to a proper accord and send John Dutton off into the sunset in a way that fits the character.
